Whether it’s a factory that manufactures new automobiles or auto parts, a garage that replaces and repairs parts, or a business that install auto accessories, parts need to be moved around on a regular basis. If you are employed by one of these industries, don’t attempt to move anything with a forklift until you have obtained forklift certification. The law requires that individuals be certified before operating a forklift. A training program must be completed, and the employee must pass both a written knowledge test and a driving test. Until certification is obtained, no employee should get behind the wheel of a forklift. Accidents and injuries can hapen easily, if an untrained employee operates equipment and is not trained to do so.
