jaisend asked:

I may be buying a used car soon. Probably a Volvo and probably 10 - 15 years old. I know nothing about cars. What is an acceptable/good mileage on a 10 - 15 year old Volvo? This car would just be used for average everyday use.
Thanx guys!

Matthew

      Around 150,000-170,000
      Nothing over 200,000

Average per year is around 14,000 miles.

So between 140,000 and 210,000 would be 100% perfectly normal mileage.

15,000 miles a year is average. The nice thing about the Volvo is they are built to last so finding a high mileage Volvo isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Before you buy anything take the vehicle to a certified mechanic for a complete pre-purchase inspection. It could save you thousands of dollars in repair costs.

anything over 175000 is too much for any used car
